BeautyUnited Campaign Debuts with Celebrity Voices

Jonathan Van Ness, Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts, Sir John, Gloria Noto and others appear in new video.

Launching today, celebrities ban together in a new campaign to fight for equality. Jonathan Van Ness, Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts, Sir John, Gloria Noto and more stand together under the umbrella of BeautyUnited to speak up and drive awareness and education around rights for Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people.

The beauty community has always been seen as a safe haven for all types of people, says the campaign. BeautyUnited is committed to keeping it that way, driving change in the beauty and wellness industry.

In the past year over 330 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills have been filed in the United States. BeautyUnited is looking to change this with awareness, says the project.

The campaign was created by Moj Mahdara, co-founder and co-chairperson of BeautyUnited, along with Mazdack Rassi, co-founder of Milk Studios and Milk Makeup. The duo was joined on the project by author and activist Alok Vaid-Menon, who served as the campaign director, as well as creative director Jonathon Burford, who oversaw creative execution.
